24 hours before: Exfoliate and complete any shaving/waxing.

Day of: Quick rinse is fine—come with clean, dry skin (no heavy lotions, oil, minimal deodorant. If you do have really dry skin I do recommend a thin layer of lotion!

Skin care actives: Skip retinol, AHAs/BHAs, benzoyl peroxide the day of your tan to prevent uneven fade.

Clothes: Wear darker, not-too-tight scrubs or office clothing if possible (not a deal breaker). Bronzer won’t stain; any transfer washes out.

Work + rinse timing: I can customize your formula for a 1–6 hr rapid or 8–10 hr overnight rinse—tell me what fits your shift.

Health: Wait or cover if you have open cuts, rashes, or healing incisions.

After your first rinse: Pat dry and moisturize daily to extend wear (typically 7–14 days).
